Angela Mole – Artist

“Art celebrating the truth and beauty still to be found in this world, motivated by a desire to share hope and peace in increasingly chaotic times.”

Angela Mole is a New Zealand artist who paints with a spiritual focus. She is a painter-poet. All she creates is motivated by a desire to share hope and peace in a chaotic world.

Her style is semi-abstract, influenced by Japanese minimalism and Art Nouveau. Flowing lines, emotional sensitivity and attention to detail, evident 20 years ago, remain authentically present today.

She works in acrylic and water colour, with mixed media elements – especially handmade oriental papers, and silk and cotton threads.

In recent years, individual paintings have been accompanied by short haiku-like poems. The Message Project is her first published work, with visual story-telling supported by a narrative poem.

All that she paints and writes, celebrates the truth and beauty still to be found in the created world and the human heart – and the potential therein to positively transform life.

Currently living in Grahovo, Montenegro, Angela can be contacted at angie@angelam.co.nz.
